A Storm Beyond the Surface
We no longer dress to cover our bodies,
we consume to numb anxiety and disguise emptiness.
The price of a garment is never just a number on a tag.
Behind it lie exploited labor hours, polluted rivers,
and countless silent sacrifices of nature and human dignity.
This Is Not Design. It’s Excess.
The gown you see here, layered, ornate, extravagant, is not the pinnacle of beauty,
but a symbol of desire spiraled out of control.
Each layer of fabric is a patch over identity anxiety;
every excess embellishment, a stitch over emptiness.
How Fashion Consumes Us
Advertising teaches us that we are never enough.
The market manufactures scarcity as illusion, turning consumption into salvation,
shopping into routine.
And when trends vanish as quickly as they arrive,
what we discard is not just clothing, but conscience, and the planet’s future.
Rethink This:
Do you truly need another outfit? or a self no longer controlled by the system?
